I'm new, what should i do? Should I get baptized? What's next?
Baptism is not a requirement for salvation, but it is an important first step for those who believe. The act of baptism itself doesn’t save anyone—only Jesus can do that. Instead, baptism serves as a visual representation of the transformation that Jesus has brought about in a person’s heart. It symbolizes Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) and reflects the new life a believer has in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Baptism doesn’t make you a believer; it is a public declaration that you already are. Baptism doesn’t save you—only Jesus can do that! It’s similar to a wedding ring, which symbolizes a relationship rather than creating it. We follow Jesus’ example in baptism—He was baptized (Mark 1:9) and instructed us to be baptized as well (Matthew 28:19-20). With this understanding, we hope you will choose to take this step of faith and be baptized.
Are You Born Again?
If you’re a believer, baptism is an important step in your faith journey. It doesn’t matter if you gave your life to Christ 20 years ago or just last week—now is the time to take the next step and be baptized.
